What else can you say , my top-of-my-list anime babe - Kanu Uchou from Ikkitousen.

This is one huge stroke on my credit card for a PVC figure - a whopping 18000yen (with shipping).

It's all good cuz once I open and ready for some pictures -  I was dazed. I was just holding her and amazed with the details and she's heavy too.

This figure was based on the Vol.13 of the manga cover. For a 2D art brought to life in 3D figure. It was a totally WOW factor.

Produced and manufactured by Daiko which is my first as well -  I was abit sceptical with the quality comparing to the big names such as Megahouse/GSC/Alter and others. I was pleasant and another good buy that she came well packed and well done.

Of course, all Ikkitousen couldn't live up to their names without some cast-off-able features. 

The painting are well spot-on. I don't really have any complain on this figure. My only gripe is that she's offered in few more color variations. But I chose this orignal red ver. cuz it was true to the cover of the manga vol.13.

Yoko by Gathering

My first ever figure from GATHERING (got it from e2046.com). TO my surprise, I was awesome and yet also my first pre-painted resin figure.

This Yoko suppose to be 1/6 in scale around 22-24cm tall.

This supposely to be the only mature looking (yet smexy) out there I've ever seen - mind me if my knowledge are just that shallow.

The painting are spot-on but it can't be 10000% perfect. Since this is a resin figure, it must handle with care all the time. I nearly broke the yellow hair pin forgetting that this is not a PVC figure that I normally purchased.

This version of Yoko (from Gurren Langgan) is totally different from what we've seen so far on the open market. I was captured by the first look of her and I straight away fell in love with her. Without second thought, I straight away made my order.

At USD140++ this is a good buy I must say. Having a resin figure pre-painted by those pros in Gathering, I have absolute confidence on my next review of 1/6 Asuka w/bike.

Shunya Yamashita - CANAL

CANAL (aka Ka-na-ru) is a Shunya Yamashita's famous art illustration of various fantasy-x-sexy interpretation. His work was featured in Final Fantasy X (some NPC & weapons) as well as few online games such as Depth Fantasia

Finally a release by Lilics.

After all the hype and hu-has of this figure release. I was again stuck with mix-feelings. Happy too have her in my harem but it wasn't what I expected.

The sculpting was spot-on Shunya's work but some how the paint-job isn't too appealing.

The skin tone is tad too reddish. Perhaps the original sculptor wanted to reflect the shyness of being baring too much skin and the provocative pose.

Shadings and highlights on the figure too have few flaws. Not too obvious at least. 

The base provided - another joke. The pin on the base too far apart to fit the figure. Lucky enough that the figure able to stand on its own. 

Overall, I wasn't THAT impressed with this figure but still she will remain in my harem collection of Shunya Yamashita works.

This maybe my only non-cast-off-able PVC figure I had for the past 3 months 

Creator's Labo Ignis & VHT VBSS

Hmm, it's been awhile since I actually crap about stuff here. Today (actually it was last night, local time +8 GMT) imma brag about my latest PVC figure that arrive safely. 

I just downloaded the H-game (yeah, I am that cheap) but I haven't actually play it yet. Jinkai Makyo (think that's the name) literally translate Chaos Gates ( yeah, it's lame). So here, we have Ignis again. If you have (actually) being following my blog all this while , I did showcased another variation of Ignis - Ignis the White few post ago. (search it dammit)

This is the latest installation of Ignis - yeah, it's all hype up of her and always a sellout figure, this is no exception either.

Let's start with the sculpt - as always, Creator's Labo never disappointed their loyal fans and yes - she also received an cast-off-able treatment.

The painting is downrite gorgeous. Even the base, the monster with a huge tongue too are smashingly great. At 7410 yen, this is a steal !!!

My only grip is that it ain't easily to find an angle to snap face-up pics. Nonetheless, it has a great pose and the Uzi have s small gimmick where the stock can flip backward. Her famous sword are well-toned and well detailed with all the words (kanji) as in the game.

Well, I hate to say this but I prefer her to be dressed rather strip naked. Cuz after cast-off, the body size kinda reduced to a kiddy size. I'm don't have a lolita complex, so it's kinda like a turnoff to me. Else, everything is good !!! ^^

Next we have another release from the notorious Very Hot company which based in Shanghai, China.

Many 1/6 citizen will notice this release resemble the earlier SOLD OUT set from Hot Toys which also the same name on the release.

Well, similiar but not same. Back then HT release the set featuring the M14 sniper rifles. Which for me it's doesn't really make much sense unless he's on a back-up team giving covering fire.

Now, VHT justify the set by giving the set on a SR-25 rifle. 

But, on the other hand switch to a much better CQC battle rifle. The SCAR (SOF Combat Assault Rifle) of which the version I use is SCAR-L (blk).

This just totally my own imagination with small flavor of reality. Since VBSS are normally in a Close Quarter Combat (CQC) and in tight situation, a long rifle normal will restrict mobility.

I've replace the helmet to a Protec helmet (which is also frm VHT hence the oversize).

Overall, VHT seeing improvement of their releases. I always adore VHT uniform fabrics. Cuz they are thinner and suitable for 1/6 bashing.Unlike other brand which featured harder fabrics.

But I hope VHT can improve more on their velcro as it doesn't stick well after sometime >.<

What A Groovy Trick !!!

YES!!! that's exactly it is. IT'S AIR GEAR TIME !!! Saw a fellow blog in my current "loit-around" forum. Then I think back, "geez, I too have few Air Gear babes. Why not snap pictures of them?" 

Matter of fact, Air Gear (Ringo & Simca) was my very 1st PVC I ever officially collected. (HAHA, now you know how long I've been into PVC - seriously not that long - 2006 - gah~~~~)

Enough with the stupid intro. (not that anyone ever read them if you do, please sign yourself up in comment section - there's a free gift waiting for you to claim - which expired 60sec ago.. ^^v)

Ol skool, figure here. Yet, it still captured the image from the anime/manga. For those haven't watch or read the manga/anime yet. Please do so, laughter and otakuness guaranteed.

The standing lady with hat is Simca while the little hottie witha burger meal tray is Ringo. Imagine my gf with a tray of burger meals - which will you choose ? (hint: if is Ringo, I'll go with Ringo. Else you know my answer O_0).

This is a new purchase, roughly release a month ago. I got it 1st hand all the way from Japan. A love at 1st sight I may say.
